Starting tomorrow, Uniarts Helsinki hosts this Expo event with an exciting program that includes panel discussions with experts and presentations from the EU network, Erasmus+ funded REACT project (2021-23). REACT has aimed to develop new pedagogical models for higher music institutions and to help musicians meet the challenges of working life. In particular, it has focused on the integration of Artistic Research to the existing curricula at the Bachelor, Master, and Doctoral levels. REACT Expo is the last and concluding event of the project, and its objective is to disseminate the project findings to a wide range of stakeholders nationally and internationally. From 21 to 23 September 2022 is taking place at the Piteå School of Music at the Luleå University of Technology the REACT Symposium: Reflective and critical approaches to teaching and learning of music performance.The REACT Symposium aims to bridge the gap between artistic production and academic research, thus creating opportunities to combine artists’, educators’ and researchers’ knowledge, featuring thematic conferences, round table discussions, papers, lecture recitals, workshops, pedagogical demonstrations.
